Terms of use and privacy policy for Atlantic City Atlas. Last updated June 11, 2026.
Privacy Policy
Atlantic City Atlas is a curated local event calendar for underground and local music events in and around Atlantic City. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about event information or email updates.
Information we collect
Email updates: If you sign up for event updates, we collect your email address and basic subscription details such as signup source, subscription status, unsubscribe token, and timestamps.
Event listings: We collect and publish event information from public sources, promoter or venue submissions, venue pages, ticketing pages, public social posts, flyers, and other publicly available event listings. This may include event names, dates, times, venues, cities, age limits, ticket links, public Instagram links, artist names, promoter or brand names, and flyer or image references.
Usage data: We may record basic anonymous activity such as page views, ticket or RSVP link clicks, Instagram link clicks, share or copy-link actions, and aggregate site visit counts. We do not require public visitor accounts for browsing.
Admin data: If you are an approved admin, we process account and operational data needed to manage events, imports, media, email subscribers, and site content.
How we use information
We use information to operate the calendar, publish and update local listings, help visitors find events, send event update emails to subscribers, process unsubscribe requests, prevent abuse, understand aggregate site usage, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.
We may normalize, summarize, edit, crop, or format public event information so listings are readable and consistent. We do not present internal source notes publicly.
Public event sources
Some listings are gathered manually or with admin-triggered import and scraping tools from third-party public sources. We try to link to official event, venue, ticketing, or social pages when available, but Atlantic City Atlas is not affiliated with those third parties unless we say so.
Event details can change. Before attending, visitors should confirm important details such as time, location, age restrictions, price, and entry requirements with the venue, organizer, ticketing page, or other official source.
If you own or represent an event, venue, artist, brand, flyer, or image and want a correction, attribution update, or removal, contact us through Instagram.
Email updates and unsubscribe
When you subscribe, we may send occasional emails about current and upcoming local events. We do not sell email subscriber lists.
Every marketing or event update email should include a way to unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we will use unsubscribed email addresses only as needed to honor opt-out requests, keep suppression records, and comply with law.
Sharing information
We may share limited information with service providers that help us host the app, send email, store media, measure aggregate usage, secure the service, or operate admin tools. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate abuse.
Terms of Use
By using Atlantic City Atlas, you agree to use the site for lawful purposes and understand that the calendar is an informational discovery tool, not a ticket seller, venue operator, event organizer, or guarantee that an event will happen as listed.
Third-party links and events
The site may link to ticketing pages, Instagram pages, venue websites, maps, and other third-party services. Those services are not controlled by Atlantic City Atlas and may have their own terms, privacy practices, fees, age checks, entry rules, and refund policies.
Atlantic City Atlas is not responsible for third-party events, cancellations, venue policies, admission decisions, purchases, refunds, transportation, safety, or any interaction between visitors and third parties.
Submissions and listing requests
If you send us event details, flyers, photos, artist information, venue information, or links for possible listing, you represent that you have the right to share that material and grant Atlantic City Atlas permission to use, edit, display, and distribute it for event discovery and promotion of the calendar.
We may decline, edit, update, unpublish, or remove listings at our discretion, especially if information appears inaccurate, out of scope, unsafe, misleading, unlawful, or inconsistent with the local calendar focus.
Content and intellectual property
The Atlantic City Atlas site design, copy, organization, and original content belong to Atlantic City Atlas. Event names, artist names, venue names, brand names, flyers, images, logos, and linked content may belong to their respective owners.
Our use of third-party event information is for local calendar discovery, attribution, commentary, and public event awareness. Contact us if you believe a listing uses your material incorrectly.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, attempt to access admin areas without permission, interfere with the service, submit false or unlawful information, upload malicious material, or use automated activity in a way that burdens, copies, or disrupts the service.
No warranties
Atlantic City Atlas is provided as is and as available. We try to keep listings current and useful, but we do not promise that event information, links, availability, emails, or site features will always be accurate, complete, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.
